Seasonal Programs

TRADITIONAL THANKSGIVING

Our Thanksgiving program, ideal for first to fourth grade students, is designed to teach students about the history of the Pilgrims. Students will learn where Pilgrims came from, why they left, and the various hardships they encountered as they created a colony in the New World. Our Thanksgiving program is a one-day event, beginning at 9 a.m. and ending by 1:15 pm. We offer this program seasonally in November until Thanksgiving. This event is specifically geared toward schools. Program includes Thanksgiving meal!

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

Choose from one of our great Christmas programs for half a day of fun or do both programs for a full day of Christmas excitement.

International Christmas
Where did the idea of the Christmas tree come from? Who were the first people to wrap presents? What is the most popular Christmas Carol in the world? All of these questions and many more are answered in our international Christmas program.

Western Christmas
Although it may be snowing, the fun doesn't stop at Kimball Camp YMCA! In rotation format, students play games from the "wild west," make a craft, and even go on a hayride.
