Kimball Camp YMCA Mission Statement
Kimball Camp YMCA Nature Center endeavors to put Christian faith and principles into practice through programs that build healthy body, mind and spirit for all, in an environment which fosters a wholesome relationship between man and God's creation.
The Camp Motto
“God is first, others are second, I am third.”
This motto is reflected in the daily lives of all of our staff. At Kimball Camp YMCA, we strive to:

Show love for each other and the people we serve.

Show the same consideration for others as we would want ourselves.

Make it evident that we do, indeed, put God first and others second to ourselves.

Use this philosophy in cabin activities, during instruction times, in the Dining Hall, while waiting in line and while both on and off duty.

Enhance the camp atmosphere by treating other staff and campers with respect for human rights, feelings, dignity and humor.

Create and encourage this mindset. It is essential for staff to keep their spirits up at all times and this is the Biblical way to encourage others.

Be enthusiastic! Enthusiasm will sustain us through all challenges, especially if we remember the source of the word: (Greek) "en theos" - "God in you".
