Annual Scholarship and Fundraising Campaigns
Kimball Camp YMCA relies on its partners in the communities that we serve for guidance and support. It is our goal to offer quality programs to youth at rates that they can afford. For those families with few financial resources, we have a number of scholarship campaigns that enable us to help pay for part or all of the program expenses. We also offer an annual Candy Sale that allows children to earn their way to Summer Camp.
Starting in 2007, Kimball Camp YMCA is also publishing a "Wish List" to make the community aware of our needs and is also publishing information on the "For The Future Campaign", a new fundraising program that will allow us to expand our outreach to the communities we serve.
Your financial support and donations help us to make a difference in the lives of thousands of youth and adults every year.
Benefit AuctionGoing once! Going twice! Sold! It will soon be time for our Annual Kimball Camp YMCA Nature Center Benefit Auction. For almost two decades, the proceeds from this auction have been providing scholarships and other support for youth programs for children in the surrounding communities. Because of the generous support we received last year, we were able to give scholarship to hundreds of children in Branch and Hillsdale Counties and beyond!
Each year, Kimball Camp expands its outreach to more children. At the same time, we keep the cost of the programs affordable for everyone. We need your help so that we can meet our goal so that no child will ever be turned away from Kimball Camp for financial reasons.
Please consider donating an item to the auction; donations are accepted by the camp year-round. Not only will you help children go to camp who might never be able to afford it, but the Benefit Auction will also help you to promote your business. Donations can be anything from new and used items, services and, of course, monetary donations. Thank you for your support!

Candy SaleFor the past 38 years, Kimball Camp YMCA has been offering it's "Earn Your Way To Camp, Candy Sale"! Kimball Camp YMCA provides Kathryn Beich candy bars for campers to sell. There is no limit to how many weeks of camp a child can earn, and they can even earn money to be used in the Camp Store.

Each year, Kimball Camp YMCA recruits Candy Volunteers in area communities to be responsible for providing the candy to children in their city. We also have Candy Warehouses, volunteers who don't mind giving up their garage space to house candy bars to distribute to the Candy Volunteers.
If you would like more information about the Candy Sale or you would like to serve as either a Candy Volunteer or Candy Warehouse, please email us.
Golf ScrambleTee up for Kimball Camp YMCA! Each year, Kimball Camp holds the Annual Kimball Camp Golf Scramble in August at the Coldwater Country Club. The event fee covers the cost of 18 holes of golf, a golf cart and awards per person. An optional babysitting service is provided at the club for families. In addition, participants can stay for a dinner at the country club.
Prizes are awarded to the lowest score for an all-male team, an all-female team and a mixed foursome. Other prizes are awarded for closest to the pin, longest drive and straightest drive.
All proceeds go to support the outreach programs of Kimball Camp YMCA!

Volunteers Help Out at Kimball Camp YMCA
LeadershipEvery year Kimball Camp YMCA receives assistance from individual and corporate volunteers. Our regular planning and direction is provided by an excellent group of approximately 15 community volunteers that serve on the Kimball Camp YMCA Board of Directors. These individuals represent diverse aspects of the Branch and Hillsdale County communities, alumni and parent experiences as well as providing professional and program expertise central to Kimball Camp's needs. In addition, volunteers serve on program, properties and fundraising committees that assist the board in its service to camp. For more information or ways to become involved please contact us.
Work ProjectsKimball Camp YMCA Nature Center is always prepared to provide volunteer groups with meaningful projects. In the past, camp has hosted groups from local schools, colleges and corporations who are interested in performing service projects to help us better serve our campers and, as you might have guessed, there are always more projects than there are volunteer days to complete them.
If you or anyone you know would like to bring a group out to volunteer at Kimball Camp YMCA, we will tailor a project to meet your skills and interests. Common projects that are continually in need include clearing trails, painting buildings, etc. For groups with specific abilities, we can offer anything from curriculum development to facility construction.
For more information on your group becoming involved please contact us.
Please help us to help others! Please volunteer!
